In 2 Nepal schedule

The program consists of an exciting 4-week period of experiencing the Nepali culture, lifestyle, language, people, food, attitude and habits. This is an interesting period from which you will benefit, if you choose to work as a volunteer in one of our projects for an additional 4 weeks (or more).

Week 1: The Orientation

This is the first step for a successful stay in Nepal! Participants will get the opportunity to learn about the Nepali culture, religion, music and basic Nepali language in the Institute for Language and Culture Studies, Katmandu. You will also have time to meet the local people, taste the food and learn about the Nepalese customs. Of course, this is also the time in which you will be informed in detailed about the program and the projects.

Week 2 and 3: Experience Nepal in a very special way!

Option A: Volunteering at a social project

During the two weeks, you will practicing Nepali language and make a positive impact while working actively as a volunteer in one of our local projects (teaching in a school at a local community). By doing so, you will also be giving a significant support to the social structure in Nepal.

Option B: Adventure and Travel

During the two weeks you will be busy doing trekking in the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), touring the Pokhara valley and do a Jungle Safari in the Royal Chitwan National Park. You will also have the possibility to do a white water rafting in Trisuli river.
The Itinerary will be adapted to the season.

Week 4: Meditation week

Prepare yourself to experience the relaxation of a homestay in a traditional Nepali Temple. You will have the possibility to practice meditation and yoga on a daily basis. During this time, you will also visit some of the most spectacular temples and monasteries in Nepal!

Additional four week periods

If you choose to join the In 2 Nepal program for longer then four weeks, you can be placed in one of several projects we have organized in Nepal. Some examples of these projects are: farming, orphanage stay or teaching projects. During this period, you will be placed at one of our centers or in a homestay situation.

Extention of the program by four week periods can be arranged during the first four weeks. Your program coordinator can provide you with more information about all the available projects.

Remember: Even though you may only work for a few weeks, your contribution can make a very positive impact!

Prices and payment

First four weeks option A, teaching: € 750

First four weeks option B, trekking: € 850

Additional four week periods are charged at € 350

€ 200 is due as deposit on the moment of the booking to secure your place on the program. The rest of the amount is to due 14 days before the start of the program. You will receive an email concerning the balance payment. As soon as the deposit has been paid, you will receive an email containing more detailed information about the program and the location.

About 95% of our participants get placed in the requested program. However, it might happen that due to certain circumstances we can not place you in the quested program. In this situation, we will refund your deposit and discuss other program options.
